Spiced Up Eggy Bread
This Spiced Up eggy bread is so easy, quick & tasty. Great for breakfast or brunch
You can freestyle your own version and add anything you like into the eggy mixture
Highly recommend using the Green coriander masala to mix through your eggs tho, really makes all the difference
Give it a go and get Spiced Up!
This Recipe should coat nicely 3-4 pieces of bread
Ingredients
- 3-4 slices of bread of your choice
- 3 eggs
- Couple of spoons of Green Coriander Masala (Recipe here)
- Diced red onion
- Fresh chopped Coriander to garnish
- Few knobs of butter
Spices – a sprinkling of the following
- Turmeric
- Ground coriander and Cumin
- Maniben’s Family Garam Masala
- Red Chilli powder (or use fresh green chilli)
- Garlic Powder
- Salt & Pepper
Other Stuff
- Large Frying Pan
Instructions
- Mix all your ingredients and spices into your eggs in a bowl
- Heat a knob of butter in your frying pan
- Smother your bread into your Eggy mixture making sure its all coated
- Straight into your frying pan when the butter has melted on med heat
- Cook for 2-3 mins on each side
- Serve with your choice of sauce – I love it with Tommy Ketchup and Tamarind sauce for that tangy flavour and don’t forget to garnish with some fresh chopped coriander too!
