Spiced Up & Healthy Chicken Nuggets

A great healthy quick and tasty way to make your own Chicken Nuggets.

Fresh ingredients, no additives and great for the kids too, just go easy on the chilli for them tho!

 Get Spiced Up and give it a go – Who needs to go to that Fast food places with the yellow arches, when you can make it yourself…?


  • Minced Chicken (Approx 400g)
  • ½ an onion whizzed up
  • Egg
  • Plain Flour
  • Panko Breadcrumbs or any type of breadcrumbs
  • 2-3 Cloves Garlic, Small knob of Ginger, 1-2 Green Chillis (optional) – Whizzed up into a paste

Spices – a sprinkling of the following

  • Turmeric
  • Ground coriander and Cumin
  • Maniben’s Family Garam Masala
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Smoked Paprika


  1. Mix your whizzed onion, garlic, ginger, chilli and spices into your minced chicken and make into small nugget type shapes. If you have time then put in the fridge for a hour or two. No probs if not
  2. Get 3 bowls one for Flour, another beaten egg and third breadcrumbs ( I used Panko breadcrumbs)
  3. Then coat your nuggets from the flour into the egg and then the breadcrumbs
  4. If using the airfryer spray with Oil and cook for 8-10 mins  mins then turn over for 8-10 mins
  5. You can also shallow fry them too if you like? Depends how healthy you want to be…??

Serve with Sauce of your choice & Enjoy! I love my Chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce
