  • 250g block of Paneer
  • 1 x small onion sliced
  • 1 x Red pepper sliced
  • 2 Tblsps of vegetable cooking Oil
  • 1 x Large Red Chilli Sliced (Keep the seeds in!)
  • 4-5 Cloves of Garlic Sliced
  • Good few Glugs of Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 Sliced spring onions for garnish at the end
  • Cup of Cornflour (to coat and crisp up your marinated Paneer)

  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 2 Large sprinkles of  coarse sea salt
  • 2-3 Large sprinkles ground black pepper
  • 2 sprinkles of Chilli Flakes (optional)
  • 2-4 Sprinkles of our own Authentic Homemade Maniben’s Family Garam Masala
  • (or whatever GM you may have at home)

  1. Chop your paneer into cubes (approx. 1cm ish)
  2. Marinate the cubed paneer in few large glugs of light Soya Sauce, good sprinkle of Garam masala, black pepper and chilli flakes. Leave to one side while you do all your slicing…
  3. Slice up your Red Pepper, Onion, Red Chilli, Garlic and Springy Onions
  4. Use your hands to coat your Marinated paneer in your Cornflour in a large bowl
  5. Shallow fry your Marinated & Cornflour covered paneer for a 3-4 mins turning all the time, then leave to drain on a kitchen towel. Don’t use your fingers like as you’ll get burnt. Use some tongs!
  6. Heat up your wok with some oil and throw in your sliced Red Pepper, Onion for a min and then add your red chilli and garlic for another min, followed by your shallow fried crispy paneer. Give it a good toss up in the wok or 30 secs’ish
  7. Finish off with good sprinkles of Garam masala, Salt & pepper and Springy onions for your Garnish
  8. Serve up straight from the Wok nice, crispy, hot, peppery & spicy!! ENJOY!!
