Chai Spiced Banana Bread
The simplest, easiest and tastiest banana bread recipe EVER!
The combo of Chai masala spices, vanilla & bananas work perfectly together.
Literally just need to mash & mix everything up and then bung it into the oven!
Also a great way to use up your ripe bananas.

What you need…
- 3 Ripened Bananas (peeled and mashed)
- 225g plain flour – sifted
- 75g of softened Butter (and a little extra to smear on the inside of the loaf tin)
- 100g sugar (or could swap for honey or agave syrup)
- 2 Tsps of Baking Powder
- ¼ tsp of Bicarb Soda
- 1 Tsp of Vanilla Essence
- Pinch of salt
- 1-1½ Tsps of Chai Masala
- A small Loaf tin
How to…
- Mix everything, except the mashed bananas, thoroughly in a large bowl and then mix through your mashed bananas.
- Grease the inside of your loaf tin
- Scoop all you chai spiced banana mixture into your greased loaf tin
- Into a pre-heated oven at 170 degrees for 40-50mins
- Suggest to let it cool down before you dive into it…Unlike me!
